Side effects of doing it within the reverse?

My boyfriend and I had anal sex for the first time(not "first time", but beside eachother) this weekend. It was pretty regular but after it these past couple days hold felt unexpected. I have be very gassy and enjoy some abdominal cramps. I have never have this happen back. Is this normal?Side effects of doing it within the reverse?
