my best friend is just starting taking birth control and she kept asking me if she should still use a condom?Should you use a condom if your taking birth control?
~~*~~ Heck yea! Nothing is 100% against pregnancy. And birth control doesn't prevent STD'S. The more protection the better.
Yes, yes, yes! Birth control pills do not protect you 100% from pregnancy, they also do not protect you against STDs and HIV.
Birth control pills do not protect against AIDS and other STD's. So yes she should.
Yes.
I own 3 kids.
That should be reason plenty.
YES, YES, YES! Birth control pills will prevent pregnancies 99% of the time but will NOT prevent sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/AIDS, or syphillis. Please inform her to ALWAYS use a condom!
yes birth control pills do not protect against std's and aids...haven't you seen the ad?
For the first month of pills you should. Also if you are having sex beside multiple partners later you should.
if she is worried about std's afterwards she should still use one but if pregnancy is the only verbs then she does not entail them but if she has more than one sexual partner it would be sagacious to still use them until she finds just one partner
taking /birth control / pills /DOES NOT /prevent /stds / HIV /herpes / any / sexual disease
Of course it would be a well-mannered thing to still use a condom! It protects against STDs as economically as provides a safe backup incase the birth control doesn't work (because it is solely 99% effective...). Birth Control also have a slight chance of ruined when taking antibiotics (and I have hear even antacids like Tums). Condoms are other a good method of backup, you can't be too watchful.
